The Smart Way to Manage Myopia in Children

Myopia has been recognized as a significant public health issue. Its prevalence continues to rise, and it is estimated that it will affect more than half of the global population by 2050.¹ High myopia can lead to retinal pathologies,² making timely and proper management essential. Educating parents, guardians, and caregivers, conducting early screenings, and implementing targeted treatments can contribute to good ocular health outcomes.

MiYOSMART lenses utilize the innovative D.I.M.S. (Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments) technology, which won the Gold Prize at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva in 2018³ and the Silmo d'Or Award in the Vision category at the Silmo Paris Optical Fair in 2020.⁴ The goal of treatment with MiYOSMART lenses is to slow the progression of myopia in a simple, safe, effective, and non-invasive way5678.
